These are in deed a rich, royal looking, solid purple, however the photos look like a royal blue, even with red in them. That is a illusion  . .. very hard to get purples to look accurate, as each type of monitor, and or camera lens see this color differently. Our eyes see the true color, so in person is definitely way better looking!! There are 4 rows of beautiful rosette like 3-D roses.
