TLS letter from Franklin Roosevelt from the White House to his personal friend Morgan H.Hoyt residing at the Hampton Hotel Albany,New York. The letter dated May 18th 1944 concerns Jim Forrestal who was the last cabinet-level United States secretary of the navy and the first United States secretary of defense.
The letter is signed by President Roosevelt with his iconic initials of FDR
