I make my own kombucha with Organic Black Tea, Organic Green Tea, Organic Raw Sugar and Distilled Water.
I am offering my extra SCOBYs to you.  These SCOBYs all look different from each other.  They are not growing in a lab!  They are growing in a home kitchen.  :-)  Color may vary.  Sometimes they are "perfectly shaped" and sometimes they are lumpy, bumpy or have a hole in the middle!
These SCOBYs come straight out of my brewing jars.
SCOBY size is approximately 4 - 5+ inches in diameter. If I feel like a SCOBY is a bit small for brewing 1 gallon I will add a second SCOBY.  :-)

Often times dark stringers of yeast will also grow in a jar of kombucha.  Although some may tell you that is healthy, that is not what I have been taught.  I believe it is normal, much as a few little weeds in a vegetable garden are also normal.  We pull the weeds out of our vegetable garden before they have a chance to get big!  This is also my policy with yeast in the kombucha.  I try to remove the little pieces and never let them get big!

I will send you a size SCOBY which is easily sufficient for making a gallon of kombucha, along with 1 cup starter kombucha and basic instructions.  You have the option of ordering with or without a cotton cloth cover for your brewing jar.  Or you may also add 2 cotton covers to your order.

Some folks like to cover their brewing jar with a coffee filter.  Some use a cotton cloth.  I personally like a cotton cloth which looks homey. It can be washed when needed and lasts indefinitely.
The covers I am offering are 100% cotton.
If you are purchasing one cover along with your SCOBY please send me a message telling me which color/print you desire.  If you do not send me a message I will send my choice!
If purchasing a set of 2 covers and you wish for 2 colors/prints rather than both covers being the same feel free to send me a message and ask if I can do so for you!
Covers are approximately 11 inches square.

I ship your SCOBY in a glass jar.

Comes from a smoke free, pet free home.

I generally check emails at least 2 times a day (except not on Sunday), so I generally will get back with you promptly!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or any issues with placing your order!  I am here to assist you!  :)
