 Harris "B.B." Seaton, the former Gaylad and true veteran of the Jamaican music with an impressive career that spans more than four decades, returns with a long awaited new album. Recorded and mixed at various studios including Soul Beat, Stingray and Night Shift in London and Heavybeat in Miami Florida, this "Unbeaten" set is B.B. Seaton's first release of new recordings in eight years. Twelve tracks are originals, the remaining two are covers of Johnny Taylor's "Make Believer" and Jackie Wilson's "Higher & Higher". When playing with the Gaylads, B.B. Seaton had a wonderful voice, and although some 35 years further on the road of life this experienced singer showcases that his voice is just as sweet now as it was back then. Furthermore he fully displays his production talent and great songwriting skills.

Reality songs like for example the wonderful "International Race", the impressive Ghetto Experience" and the outstanding "Talking Is Cheap" have great lyrics and are very entertaining efforts. Also lovers themes are represented on this set and B.B. Seaton really knows how to write a very enjoyable lovers tune. Truly worth of hearing are "Icing On The Cake", "Favourite Flavour", "Let's Stay Together" and one of our personal favourites "Why", which is underpinned by a great Stingray produced riddim. Jamaican memories and impressions are beautifully expressed in "Games We Play" and "Dunn's River Falls". "Unbeaten" features many notable tunes that touch the heart and soul. Great music for big people!
