Peruvian Shipibo native embroidery cloth

They are an ethnic group from Peruvian Amazon, in an area located on the banks  of the Ucayali River. Shipibo shamans are internationally famous. Many people come from other countries to be cured or to learn from their wisdom.

Kene means design in the shipibo languaje. A characteristic desingn system that is expressed in fabrics, being a feminine art that is passed down from mother to daughter and that uses materials derived from the forest and the chacras.
