New Digitron D805H infra red thermometer. This is a professional quality instrument that can be used to take temperature readings on any apparatus that emits infra red radiation, i.e. identifying hot spots (bad connections) on electrical control gear, bus bars, motors, cable joints. Thermometer can also be used to measure the temperature of heat exchangers, boilers, refrigeration units etc.

Unlike the inferior short range point and shoot themometers that you can buy which only measure +ve temperature ranges, the Digitron D805H measures a heat range -50 Deg C to + 500Deg C and also allows accurate sighting of the object under test up to 5m away by using a Fresnel lens parallel optical sighting system.
