*Organic Semi-Wild 'Sparrow's Tongue' Loose Leaf Green Tea*
Teas2u is pleased to offer this organic handcrafted Jaksul Cha 'Sparrow's Tongue' through my long-time tea friendship with Jirisan, Hwagae Valley Korean tea artisan Kim, Jong Yeol.
This is an exceptionally tasty semi-wild jaksul or sparrow's tongue loose leaf green tea. It is a 2nd flush harvest of early spring and was made with lots of passion by Kim, Jong-Yeol and his family. It's called jak-sul or sparrow's tongue because the appearance of the hand-plucked, small, tender leaf and bud resemble a sparrow's tongue.
This early spring (late-April) hand harvested semi-wild leaf tea has a fresh, spring, deep mountain fragrance. It produces a bright yellowish-green tea liquor in the cup.
Exquisite sweet dew with fresh green taste notes and deep, spring flavor that refreshes your taste buds.
*Freshly hand harvested and hand roasted green tea (nokcha)! Supply is limited and this is one semi-wild loose leaf green tea not to be missed!
Note: This tea comes packaged in a heat-sealed foil bag.
*Tea Steeping Tips:
1) Bring fresh cold water of either reverse osmosis or spring quality water to a boil.
2.) Set boiling water aside for 5 minutes.
4.) Add ~4 grams of leaf tea to a 250 ml tea vessel of your choice.
5.) Rinse the tea leaves for 2-3 seconds and then drain the tea wash.
6.) 1st infusion for ~30 seconds using below boiling water (~80°C/176°F) and drain the tea liquor.
7.) Taste the tea, and increase steeping times on subsequent infusions to your desired taste preferences.
* You can make multiple pots (at least 4) of rich nokcha with the original serving amount of tea leaves.
Enjoy!
