Folks, this plant is nothing short of beautiful. I've been amazed by it since i first moved to Oklahoma from Connecticut. The seed poof looks like a Giant Dandelion. Pyrrhopappus is fun to play with and study its amazing aerodynamic structures.
The strangest thing about this plant seems to be its reduced geography as it is only found here in the midwest between central Kansas through Oklahoma and into central Texas.
My store here may be the only place on the web you can find this rare and beautiful gem.
