Comments: A UPI article stated in part, "The U.S. bombing raid on Libya was music to the ears of some American songwriters and radio broadcasters. Four composers collaborated on the toe-tapping "Khadafy Shuffle." Songwriter Steve Wallach said that he and colleagues Quinton Qualls, Hank Beach and Yance DeVeer wanted to help defuse world tension in writing the "Khadafy Shuffle," which includes the verse: "First you move it to the east, you get closer to the beast. He's terrorized the world, now our flag's been unfurled. If you're gonna do it right, you need to learn to fly at night. When you give the eagle a ruffle, you wind up doing the Khadafy Shuffle."
