This antique cabinet card photo, which I'm pretty sure is from the 1890s, is marked "Kays" from Kenton, O (which I think is Kenton, Ohio).  It features a little girl about 8 or 9 years old (my guess) wearing what looks like a party dress and holding a wand or baton of some sort.  On the back is the name Ethel Lambert.  The card measures 6.5" X 4.25", and other than a small bump to the lower right corner it's in excellent shape.  My photo doesn't do it justice (apparently it's harder than I thought to get a good picture of these), and it's much clearer in real life.  I don't know much more about it, or about these photos in general (I am not a collector).  This one has been in my possession for about 20 years, and after a great deal of general fishing around, I've determined that this is not a member of my family; it is likely just something that my grandfather picked up somewhere, as he tended to do.  Rather than keep it here gathering dust, I'm passing it along so that someone who has a use or appreciation for these things can give it a new home.  It is quite a nice picture, I think; the girl has what I have always thought to be a fierce, determined look on her face.  I've grown to like her over the years of staring at her, and I'll always have a strong suspicion that she grew up to be a woman who put up with no nonsense (that's what I like to believe, anyway).  Asking $5.00 obo.  Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.
