The historic Red Mill was built by David McKinney circa 1763. It rests on the bank of the Raritan River in the picturesque village of clinton, New Jersey. Today, the mill is the center of the Clinton Historical Museum Village. It includes a working waterwheel and numerous other artifacts from bygone days. The mill ground and pressed flax seeds of linseed oil and sold the crushed byproduct "seed cakes" as animal food. Operating until 1920, the mill also ground talc, graphite, and grain.
This 500-piece jigsaw puzzle recreates a beautiful photo of the mill, taken by Peter W. Glasser.
Finished puzzle measures 16" by 20".
