The Ford Show has remained one of the most innovate, unique and enduringly entertaining prime-time variety series ever produced for television. Virtually overnight, it cracked the Nielsen top ten, and before the end of it’s first season on the air, it had become the number one half-hour variety show in America — a spot it held from April 1957 to June of 1961.
