This is for a black and white copy of 28 vintage newspaper quilt transfers plus 1 layout copy.The pattern ran for 28 weeks during the 1930's with a different block displayed each week plus one week had the layout illustration.There are 28 different nursery rhyme characters plus their verse.Each design is 7.5"-8" in size and are to be transfered onto a 9" square.Ruby Mckim designed each character for this quilt.Each block gives embroidery suggestions for colouring or you may choose to do them all in redwork or bluework.The blocks also give instructions as to tracing,applying the patterns,quilt assembly,scalloped borders and quilting designs.

This is a black and white copy from my original yellowing newspaper pattern(seen in the picture).To use this copy you will either need to trace the design with a transfer pen and then iron onto fabric or trace it with a pencil directly onto fabric.
