Don Germain was born in Leavenworth, Washington, grew up in Southern California, and lived in Nevada for 30 years. He now operates the Rodeo Store in Grass Range, Montana. He is a professional Rodeo Cowboy and Gold cardholder in the PRCA. He was a National Old Timers World Champion Team Roper in 1983 and has belonged to numerous rodeo associations throughout 40 years of competition.
He has been writing poems as Don Germain and under the pseudonym Debra Dawn for six years, but only performing for one year. His performances include Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering (1994), Elko (1995), Phoenix (1995) and St. Anthony, Idaho (1995) All poems in the book originate from true stories, except of course, Jake and the Fat Man, He Don't Look So Good and parts of I Should Have Held His Hand.
Book condition is Very Good. Light wear on covers. Inscription written on title page. Likely signed by author, but difficult to read. The pages are clean without highlighting, markings or tears.
