VINTAGE ITEMS - Items I list as vintage are sold as is and are normally listed as I find them. I normally do not clean the items unless they are so dirty that the item cannot be seen through the dirt. Please note that vintage items are "OLD" and like us will have scars from their life.

VINTAGE RESALE ITEMS - These are items not made by SALLY'S CREATIONS. I describe all my items to the best of my ability and try to take informative pictures. I do research each item that I list and try to include the information I find. I enjoy collecting a wide variety of vintage items and learning about the origins of each piece. Vintage items are pieces from my personal collection or estate finds.

MEASUREMENTS - All measurements are to be considered approximate estimates. I strive to take accurate measurements, however most items are irregular shaped and difficult to measure.

MULTIPLE SITE LISTING - This item may be listed for sale at other internet based locations and/or a retail shop. Item sales will be processed on a "FIRST PAID" basis. If you are the winning bidder on an item or place a Buy it Now purchase, it will remain for sale until the item has been paid for. This is the same policy has begun using to reduce the unpaid item occurrences on Buy it Now items.

PICTURES: I HAVE STARTED TAKING PICTURES WITH AND WITHOUT USING A FLASH. This is to show detail and highlight the difference in how a piece looks in different light. You will notice the difference in the pictures as you look at them. Typically the colors look brighter under flash photography than without a flash and some details stand out better when using a flash. I hope this change will help better show my items and be helpful to you in determining quality and condition of the item. **RARE** ANTIQUE CHINESE FAMILLE NOIRE HEXAGON CANISTER

THIS IS AN AMAZING PIECE! I HAVE NOT EVER SEEN ANOTHER PIECE LIKE THIS ONE. IT IS HEXAGON WITH A HEXAGON LID AND BEAUTIFUL DECORATION. THE LID ONLY FITS PROPERLY ONE WAY AND THERE IS A SMALL BLACK DOT ON THE LID WHICH MUST BE OVER THE CRANE / LOTUS DECORATION. THIS IS AN ESTATE FIND AND IT WAS REALLY REALLY DIRTY WHEN I ACQUIRED IT. I GAVE IT A QUICK BATH IN WARM WATER WITH A MILD SOAP AND NOTICED THAT SOME OF THE BROWN (TEA) STAIN WAS WASHING OFF, BUT I DID NOT TRY TO SCRUB IT OFF. I THINK IT COULD BE CLEANED UP MUCH MORE IF DESIRED. THERE APPEARS TO BE A "IIIf" OR "tIII" MARK ON THE BOTTOM BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT MEANS - PERHAPS IT IS AN ARTIST SIGNATURE. THE COLORS REALLY POP AGAINST THE BLACK BACKGROUND. THE MOUTH OF THE CANISTER IS UNGLAZED AND THE LID FITS SOMEWHAT LOOSELY.

**NEW INFORMATION** Thanks to a helpful member I now have new information on this amazing piece. This jar was made in China at the Wah Tung Kiln of the Wah Tung Porcelain Company in Macau. The date is approximately 1970s.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD - NO APPARENT CRAZING - STAINING TO INSIDE AND BOTTOM - THERE MAYBE SOME MINOR SURFACE WEAR TO THE GLAZE ON THE SIDES I AM NOTING THIS BECAUSE TO ME THE LID APPEARS GLOSSIER THAN THE SIDES OF THE JAR
