We use only professionally garment tanned pelts. Whenever possible our products are made from wild caught pelts collected by sustainable hunting and trapping practices. We do use ranched pelts for types not available in the wild such as Blue Fox.

FANCY TAILS

These are full tails. Fancy Tails are a finished product. I have cleaned, combed and sealed the tails, then added a leather loop at the top for hanging or attaching the tail. I have also attached a Concho with leather tassels adorned with beads and feathers. TAILS PICTURED ARE EXAMPLES OF ONES I HAVE IN STOCK.



CUSTOM ORDERS - You can request a specific color of feathers or concho and (depending on availability)  I will be happy to make one just for you.

MEASUREMENTS - All measurements are to be considered approximate estimates.  I strive to take accurate measurements, however most items are irregular shaped and difficult to measure. 

MULTIPLE SITE LISTING - This item may be listed for sale at other internet based locations and/or a retail shop.  Item sales will be processed on a "FIRST PAID" basis. If you are the winning bidder on an item or place a Buy it Now purchase, it will remain for sale until the item has been paid for.  This is the same policy has begun using to reduce the unpaid item occurrences on Buy it Now items. 

PICTURES:  I HAVE STARTED TAKING PICTURES WITH AND WITHOUT USING A FLASH. This is to show detail and highlight the difference in how a piece looks in different light. You will notice the difference in the pictures as you look at them.  Typically the colors look brighter under flash photography than without a flash and some details stand out better when using a flash.  I hope this change will help better show my items and be helpful to you in determining quality and condition of the item.  If you would like additional pictures or a specific picture of the item please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to oblige. 

METAL CONTENT –Items which have a metal content stamped on them are described as “MARKED” This is not a guarantee of the metal content but a statement of how the item is stamped. I normally will have unstamped items tested but it is not financially possible to have every item tested for metal content. You should also be aware that items marked “MEXICO SILVER” may be sterling (925) or higher or may contain little to no silver. Items marked “ALPACA SILVER” contain mostly nickel and zinc with little or no silver.  Items which have been tested for metal content are described as “TESTED” OR “MARKED/TESTED”

GEMS / STONES I describe gems and stones to the best of my ability as an amateur collector. Items which I have had checked by a professional jeweler or Lapidary will be described as such. There are any number of “look alike” stones that cannot be readily distinguished with the naked eye and I do not have the means for expensive laboratory testing. Gem stones can be treated, natural, synthetic or lab created and if I know this information it will be noted in my listing along with where the information came from (Jeweler, original owner, research, original tag or paperwork etc.)
