No, it doesn't cover Chico Escuela; but everyone else is there, from William Shea and Branch Rickey, George Weiss and Casey Stengel, Hobie Landrith, Don Zimmer, Ralph Kiner, Marv Throneberry, on to 1969, and then on to the 1980s with Doc Gooden, Gary Carter, and Darryl Strawberry.
My mom was a Mets Fan and we got her this book, but most of the time it was just on a shelf, so it is still in very good condition, including the shiny dust jacket. There are no tears, nor handwriting or the like anywhere, although the top corner of the dust jacket on the inside flap where the price was has been cut off.
