Usage
Biatain Silicone Ag can be used for a wide range of exuding wounds with delayed healing due to bacteria, or where there is a risk for infection, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, second-degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions. Can be used with compression therapy.

The unique foam structure conforms closely to wound bed for structure superior absorption and retention of exudate. Conformability to wound bed minimizes risk of bacteria growth in "dead space" and creates the optimal condition for delivery of silver ions.

Patented silver complex with broad antimicrobial profile
Optimal concentration of silver ensures faster killing of bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and ß-haemolytic Streptococcus. The patented silver complex provides a sustained release of silver during the entire wear time (up to 7 days).

Biatain Silicone Ag has 3-piece non-touch opening for aseptic, safe and easy application, reducing waste of dressings.
Mode of action
In the presence of exudate silver is continuously released into the wound bed for up to 7 days.
