Very nice collectible pub stein/beer mug commemorating the USS Indianapolis SSN 697 submarine.
This was the third ship of the United States Navy to be named for Indianapolis, Indiana. It was commissioned on January 5, 1980, and decommissioned on December 22, 1998.
The SSN 697 USS Indianapolis badge colors are bright with no wear. The other side has the Navy insignia in gold. The bottom is stamped with Mil-Art China Co., Chelmsford, Mass. 01824.
It is 3-3/4 inches in diameter across the base and 5 inches tall. It has a capacity of 12 ounces.
This heavy pub stein/beer mug is in excellent and very clean condition with no chips or cracks.
Great gift item and an interesting display piece for a man cave.
