Polymem WIC Cavity Wound Filler Dressing
This PolyMem formulation is especially designed for cavity wounds. PolyMem WIC expands within the wound cavity to fill space, keeping the wound bed clean and moisturised while absorbing excess fluid. PolyMem WIC is indicated as a primary dressing for cavity wounds and therefore comes without the thin film backing to allow absorption from all sides of the dressing. Other PolyMem dressings such as PolyMem Adhesive can be used as a secondary dressing.
When to Use PolyMem WIC:
PolyMem WIC is indicated for cavity wounds, superficial and partial thickness burns, traumatic wounds, skin tears, radiotherapy skin reactions, donor and graft sites.
