These vintage floral linen napkins measure 13" wide x 13 1/2" long. Pretty apricot and blue flowers, with pale green on the foliage, accent one corner, of each of the five napkins. An apricot colored stripe is along each border also.
It looks like the 'color blending' technique was used in the printing process, as the colors overlap. This was a process used in the 1940s. This pattern resembles the Pride of Flanders brand that was made by the Weil and Durrs Company. They also made the famous Wilendur tablecloths.
This would be perfect for a family of four, to complement your vintage linen tablecloth. The fifth napkin could be used for a bread basket, or in the center of the table. The five napkins have been soaked, rinsed until clear, and dried outside in the sunshine, ready for your use. They are in excellent condition!
