FROM THE DUST RETURNED Ray Bradbury First edition signed and dated on Halloween,2001 by Ray Bradbury First edition, signed and dated on Halloween of the book publication year 2001. Ray Bradbury and Halloween are eternally bound in fantasy fiction and life for thousands of people. Note: We have three as new copies of this book signed on Halloween 2001. This listing is for one of these books. If you wish to purchase all three (or two) books message me and I will extend a courtesy discount. This book is an “as new copy” which I had in storage foryears. This copy has been signed and dated on Halloween 2001 as shown. The signature and date will be exactly like what is shown but will be slightly different as Ray Bradbury’s signature varies a bit as does everyone’s signature. I personally presented this book to Ray Bradbury for the signature and date at his home in that month and year. At the time I had several copies of this book to which he signed and “Halloween dated” for me, as he was also a frequent signer at our Bookshop in downtown Ventura, CA. I will also include a signed (by me) Letter of Assurance with a picture of the signature and Halloween date shown on this COA with the book, to help protect your investment. The dust jacket will also be enclosed in a removable Mylar jacket protector. At the time, or just about the time of the book's publication (and about the time I had this book signed and dated) Ray became ill, hence not many (if only the few I had) were signed in 2001, let alone dated on Halloween. We are the only primary source book shop who has these Halloween dated copies for sale . Original dust jacket art by Chas. Addams, from a painting that was in Ray Bradbury's collection. Ray knew Addams early on his career and saved up to buy this art piece which eventually ended up as the jacket art for this book. Again, a document of authentication will accompany this book regarding signature and date. In the document it will be a photo printed of the signature , and date. We feel this is important should you decide to sell the book in the future or keep the book as an investment.
