Up for sale is this vintage magazine cover featuring the work of sports artist J.F. Kernan. It is a modified version of his “Casey At The Bat” Painting/Print and the cover is mounted on a slightly larger paper sheet.
J.F. Kernan painted covers of magazines during the 1920's - 1940 which included such magazines as: Outdoor Life, Saturday Evening Post, Cappers Farmer, Liberty etc.
Not sure which magazine this was from, there is a small address in the lower right hand corner. The colors are still very bright with some each scuffs and small edge tears. It measures 10” X 11".
