Cute carved Malachite Owl with lots of detail. The Owl weights about 95 gm, 475 carats, and is 2 1/4" by 1" by 1 3/4." There is a "bull's eye" on the back on the Owl.

Living in Arizona has many advantages including several gem shows. Over the years I bought a number of carved Malachite animals from the African dealers.
