Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic silent film drama, WEST OF ZANZIBAR, released in 1928 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Tod Browning. Lon Chaney stars as a magician who seeks vengeance upon the man who paralyzed him (Lionel Barrymore) and the illegitimate daughter (Mary Nolan) he sired with the magician's wife.

The image features an interior medium shot of Phroso (Lon Chaney), who is seated in a wheelchair as he lifts his head back and swallows a sword! This vintage copy photograph, which was most likely printed in the 1960's, is in near-fine condition with very small and random creases in the image area and borders. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
