Crystal Covered Cheese/Butter Dish American Brilliant

We can’t date this with certainty nor ascertain the maker. Its hobstar and buzz cuts are gorgeous allowing an incredible light refraction; made from a heavy, cut lead Crystal. The downside is that it’s got a few chips on the bottom edge of the cover. This in mind, we hesitated to offer this item (not to mention that it looks so good in our kitchen). the. The chips are shown in the photos but we assure you that “you won’t notice them” when this item sits on your counter. The plate is 10 inches in diameter and is heavy (5 lbs). With cover on, it is 8 ½ tall. The dome is 8 ¼ inches in diameter. Our offering price is considerably less that you will find elsewhere for a comparable vintage item.
