This Bromeliad relative is great for small gardens. Plant only grows to 2 feet max. Thick,
cherry cola colored leaves with silver backs and thorns form
multi-head rosettes over time. Hot orange tubular flowers will appear in
Spring once plant has reached a mature age. Drought tolerant in the
ground once established, good hillside and container plant. May be
sensitive to frost in colder climates. Attracts hummingbirds.
