This is an absolutely stunning Pickard China "White-Tailed Deer" collector's plate. It is in near mint condition . The depiction of the deer comes from the original painting by the famous American wildlife artist James L Lockhart. It's is a numbered limited edition, that number being 1299 out of 2,500. It measures just under 11" across. The Pickard website stating that it was issued in 1975, with an issue price of $100! It's in incredible condition for being 44 years old!
