Partial address stamp near top-right on back. Inner-sleeve is original (MCA logo); three seams split near center. Spine is easy-to-read with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; minor wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Have You Never Been Mellow (both the title single and the album) rose to the top of their respective U.S. charts (the Billboard Hot 100 singles and the Billboard 200 albums). The follow-up single, Please Mr. Please, peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Country charts. Newton-John received a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her work on the title song, but lost to At Seventeen by Janis Ian.
