Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic silent film drama/romance, THE SON OF THE SHEIK, released in 1926 by United Artists and directed by George FitzmauriceRudolph Valentino stars in his final film appearance due to his untimely death at the age of 31. The son of the Sheik and a beautiful dancing girl fall in love but when he is made to believe that she has betrayed him, he seeks his revenge.

The image features an exterior nighttime medium shot of young Sheik Ahmed (Rudolph Valentino) tenderly holding the hand of the beautiful dancing girl, Yasmin (Vilma Banky), as the couple meet near the ruins of an old stone building in the desert. This vintage copy  photograph, which was most likely printed in the 1950's or possibly earlier, is in fine condition with smudges of light black ink in the right border and random signs of wear on the corners. The image quality is sharp with fine detail and nice contrast that enhances the beautiful highlights on the edges of their faces and hair. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
