Vintage 1950s/1960s ceramic sugar canister, Barnyard series by Yona Original.  Canister base measures 4 1/4 by 4 3/4 by about 5 1/4 inches tall.  Overall, with the lid on, it measures approximately 8 12 inches tall.  Marked on base, Yona Original 229.  Also, there's a paper label remnant.  I believe this is a Made in Japan import.  Vintage item in good condition, no chips, no cracks, please view all photos.
