Description

Offered here is this nice vintage faux leather case varsity 1055 stamped on it containing a large drafting set. I am unsure of the exact age of the set, however, I do know that it was used in a steel foundry in Marion Ohio before World War I. The drafting set seems to be complete, and the case that it is in is stamped with A.P. and an eagle on the inside of the cover flap. I do not know anything about drafting, so I can't really describe the parts and pieces of this set by name or function, only that there are quite a few and that the set does seem to be complete. The case is 9.5" long and 4.5" wide when closed. It has a two snap closure. It has a lot of wear and peeling at the corners and edges. It is a very nice, very old drafting set in very usable condition, and would make a wonderful addition to an antique collection as well.
