This is a vintage piece of art pottery or ceramic that is a brooch. The front is handpainted with a fancy artistic rendering of a bird that looks like a crane with its wings out.
The only markings found is the word "Italy" on the brass color metal pin-back.

Size is about  1.5 inches.
This is a unique maybe even one of a kind piece. If you collect mid-century modern art pottery from Italy this is a piece you can wear to show off what you collect.

Good vintage condition; normal age ware. Has wear to the gold edge. (The small white spots in the photo are from the flash)

 

 

Because my items are vintage/used they may have some signs of use/wear and/or be in need of some cleaning or polishing. I have not tried to clean or do anything to the piece.
