US single-weight glossy restrike photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken, but one printed from the original negative at a later time) from the classic 1920's silent film crime drama thriller, THE UNKNOWN, released in 1927 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Tod BrowningA criminal on the run (Lon Chaney) hides in a circus and seeks to possess the beautiful daughter (Joan Crawford) of the ringmaster (Nick De Ruiz) at any cost.

The image features an exterior shot on the grounds of a traveling circus as a group of gypsies sit around a fire as a gendarme watches them while an African boy stands behind him. Printed most likely in the 1950's or 1960's, it is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
