Brand new factory sealed dvd might be a flipper disc since the full screen version is included which is also perfect for old tube televisions as the image will fill your square screen.

Ignore the critics and box-office receipts. Big-budget swashbuckling adventure that I thought was more realistic and better than those fantasy Disney/Depp Caribbean movies.

Female pirate Captain Morgan Adams (Geena Davis), and her little monkey sidekick, is left part of an inscrutible treasure map by her father and "persuades" educated slave/thief William Shaw (Matthew Modine), who has lots of charm and no morals, to assist her.

Her scurvy Uncle Dawg (despicably well-played by Frank Langella) also has a portion of the map and is willing to let Morgan find the treasure--on CUTTHROAT ISLAND--before taking it for himself. But they will have to contend with quicksand, breathless chases, and an endless final battle.

Davis plays her role with enthusiasm, she's better looking than Depp and her full figure makes her a convincing fighter against the men.
