For your consideration this high quality Large Hand Painted Roses Plate or Charger from Bavaria. The superb workmanship on these flowers makes it easy to see why these hand painted beauties are so treasured. This large 12" in diameter plate is entirely hand painted with a white center background surrounded by a pale yellow border. The interior border is accented with a small gold band and the plate is trimmed in gold. The beautiful pink roses with their petals show no paint loss and the plate is in very nice condition with no chips, nips, cracks, or repairs. There is a very slight blemish above the left tall rose and the plate has its original glaze in wonderful shape. It is signed by the artist "Stich" which is the best I can decipher. On the reverse is the company mark however it has faded over the years. In the mark I can make out a crown over a globe or cartouche with the word Bavaria beneath. Below the word Bavaria is a longer word which I simply cannot make out and "Handpainted". A beautiful high quality large plate or charger for your collection or decor!
