This is a VINTAGE, EXCELLENT Condition "Silver Promotional Gift Miniature Spoon Pin Brooch" from the early-1940s. It belonged to my elderly neighbor's mother who received it when she registered at the local department store for a set of Silver Flatware.  Worn occasionally through the early-1980s when it was packed away for a move and forgotten about. Recently rediscovered, it has been safely and securely stored for over 30 years. With a a NICE Patina and Age Appropriate Wear, it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches long, the bowl has a diameter of approximately 1/2 inch with the swivel pin back working smoothly, holding securely and measuring approximately 1 1/8th inches long; it is Marked "PAT 2066969".

This LOVELY Promotional Spoon Pin is hard-to-find and VERY Collectable. It is quite CHARMING and simple enough to wear every day!  The Patent dates to 1937.  During the 1930s and through the mid-1940s, department stores gave Promotional Spoons as gifts to a bride or housewife when they ordered a set of Silver Flatware or registered her pattern with the store; she would be sent home with a miniature Silver Spoon Pin as a gift.
