Box cover has a dry sticker stain across the top tab and two on the bottom right corner of the cover. Cassette has security stickers on both endcaps and one long one over the spines title label assuring you of first generation quality.
Pre-viewed for quality and played great on my JVC deck except for some lines at 1 hour 57 1/2 minutes just before the ending.
Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and only available as a cheapjack made-on-demand (MOD) disc. These have no special features, will not play on recordable devices, are not re-mastered, use the same source print as their vhs counterpart, have random chapter stops rather than placed carefully, and are kind of pricey.
Shirley MacLaine is Lucy Dell, an enormously popular Hollywood comedienne married to movie-maker Paul Robaix. And meek Yoki Mori (also MacLaine), the recently discovered geisha star of Paul's in-progress film version of Madame Butterfly. Paul doesn't know it yet, but that's no geisha--that's his wife!
Yves Montand (as Paul), Edward G. Robinson and Bob Cummings join MacLaine in this romantic comedy. Paul is eager to prove he can make a hit film without his wife. Lucy, however, wants to prove she can handle a dramatic role. So she secretly follows Paul to Japan, dons a disguise and gives a topsy-turvy spin to this delightful, gorgeously filmed comedy of mistaken identity.
