A Boy In Early Virginia or Adventures with Captain John Smith by Edward Robins and published in Philadelphia by George W. Jacobs.  It is a first edition copyright 1901.  I hesitate to call this illustrated because there is only one illustration by John Henderson Betts.  It has no dust jacket and I don't know if it ever did.  The binding is beginning to loosen bu the book is in overall usable shape. The hard cover  has smudges. John Smith is a character as well as Pocohontas.  It has 285 pages. How much the book follows history or deviates from it I cannot say.
