You are bidding on this nice Vintage 100% Silk Christian Aujard Ladies Double Breasted Overcoat. It is in very good condition and has no holes or tears, however, there are quite a few little brownish spots on it. I do not know what they are from, since the coat has been hanging in a protected plastic garment protector for years. I am unsure of its exact age, but I would guess that it dates to the 1950's. It is a beautiful Ivory white color, and is lined in the sleeves. It also has an attached belt, and pearlescent buckles on both the belt, as well as the decorative sleeve embellishments at the cuffs. There is some discoloration on the back of these buckles, as seen in the photos, however, I am unsure if it is from age, or something else, but it is not visible on the front side. It seems to have been purchased in France, and was made there as well. It is 47.5" long from shoulder to hem, 18" across the shoulders, and 19" across the chest. It is a very nice, vintage silk overcoat in a gorgeous color, and a classic look and style.
