This vintage Goebel Hummel figurine "Ride into Christmas" numbered 396 2/0 has the TMK6 trademark on the bottom. It is initialed by the maker with the number 81 which indicates the date made. The number 1981 is stamped at the bottom of the underneath side, but I think that must be some kind of internal model number rather than the date.
The figurine features a young boy merrily riding a sled holding a lantern in both hands. A snow-covered Christmas tree in a basket sits on the back. He truly depicts the notion of getting ready for Christmas.
