There are ISSUES to this brooch being there are 3 of the smaller stones which are missing. They are on the outer border. The backing of some of the larger stones have the gold paint on the back so the fronts of those stones will show a little more of a not so clear color. The pin on the back works like it should. I used to wear this brooch - pin to secure my scarf at my office job. It really set off any color scarf or jacket I wore. Even with the little stones missing one can't really tell unless you really look hard.
Needs a good cleaning to bring out the shine again. I haven't had this piece out of the jewelry box since 2008.
