Offered here is this Vintage Solid Wood Side Chair. It is in particularly good condition but does have some light surface scratches to the finish in a few areas, as well as some staining on the seat from a cushion that was once on the chair. The chair also has some remnant of a painted stenciled rose design on the front and back of the top portion of the chair back. It has been whitewashed over, but it is still slightly visible on both sides. I am unsure of the age or origins of the chair, or of the type of wood that it is constructed from, but it is solid wood, and has metal supports beneath the seat. The chair is solid, stable, and in usable condition. It is distressed along most of the edges, as well as some areas in the front, and I believe that this was done intentionally as part of the design. The chair is 37.5” tall, the seat is 18” high, 19” wide across the seat, 19.5” wide at the back, 16” wide at the back of the seat, 17.5” deep at the seat, 20.75” deep total, and 19.5” wide across the leg span. It is a genuinely nice solid wood chair, that will be a nice addition to any furniture collection, and just needs a light cleaning.
