The artist Jane Billman, is well known for her fine art work for the nursery or a child's room.
This piece is called;The train Keeps on Rollin,and the title is hand written in pencil in the Lower left corner and the number 132/250.On right corner the artist has pencil signed her name The piece is professionally framed and double matted.
JANE BILLMAN
The print is on quality, hand made paper produced in a small mill in Europe. The artist begins with her original drawing which she then engraves on a prepared wood block, using hand gravers and assorted hand carving tools.
This can take between 40-300 hours. Next, she embosses the paper over the wood engraving with an antique flatbed press.
After embossing, she hand paints the image with watercolor, acrylic or oil based paints made of pigments that she personally mixes.
