Set in Istanbul featuring Turkish philosopher and detective Nuri bey Izkirlak.
Fleming was a two-time Gold Dagger Award winning, critically acclaimed mystery author, and her novel THE DEEDS OF DR. DEADCERT was adapted to the 1958 film titled 'RX Murder'.
Fine in brick-red linen boards with black embossed titles to the spine; in a near fine dust jacket with cap-wearing skull art by John Rose, with a few minor short crimp-creases to the front flap fold and to the lower spine edge; original printed 12s.6d. net price still intact to the front inner flap.
