The listing had a length of estimated time. All orders have a paper with it that has instructions and FAQs to help. If the layer under the topper is crusted over, it wont melt down into the layer. User error. Hello Dawn! I ordered the Minecraft cake topper for my son Cooper….I wanted to let you know the cake topper was a complete disaster. I don’t know what happened or what went wrong? I put it on a freshly baked buttercream iced cake and it tasted like we were eating paper. I read the instructions several times and did exactly what I was suppose to do. We had to tear it off the cake completely because it was disgusting. I felt so bad that this happened on my sons birthday today. He was very disappointed. Can you please get back to me. No where on the paper did you write to wait 2 hours !!! I waited about an hour . I am very surprised that you don’t have that information included with the topper! How would I know it needs 2 hours? Usually a bakery cake is already set so it would need freshened with a spatula. Whipped frosting can be a quicker melt versus a thicker buttercream.
