CAKES AND ALE by W. Somerset Maugham Pocket Books, 1st Paperback Printing, 1957 Condition: Very Good+ to Near Fine This "bright, brilliant, wickedly satirical" novel is one of Maugham's best. A bit of light wear on the extremities and light page toning, else a square, very tightly bound copy. What seem to be reading creases on the covers may, I suspect, have been there when printed; if so, this is a Near Fine copy.
