Wiggin's home in Hollis, Maine is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was the inspiration and setting for several of her stories (especially these tales), novels and plays. Wiggin is most remembered for her numerous children's books, including REBECCA OF SUNNYBROOK FARM, though she was also an acclaimed author of adult fiction, and was a respected singer and musician as well.
