SIGNED by Christopher Morley to the front end-paper.
Morley, an essayist, journalist, poet, humorist, satirist, and novelist is most famous for his novel THE HAUNTED BOOKSHOP and the Academy Award-winning film adapted novel KITTY FOYLE.
Originally
published as six separate books, Morley offers six new introductory
essays printed on blue paper, preceding each entry for this omnibus edition.
Comprises: SWISS FAMILY MANHATTAN; REHEARSAL; MANDARIN IN MANHATTAN; THE ROMANY STAIN; CHIMNEYSMOKE; and HASTA LA VISTA.
Light age-toning to the end-papers as usual, rub-wear to the spine folds, upper spine end, and corner tips, faint stain to upper corner-edge of the outer page fore-edges, else very good in red linen with black embossed titles to the spine; lacking a dust jacket.
Thick octavo.
