Brand new factory sealed dvd of the original Death Wish plus 2, 3, 4 on a blu-ray set. The Death Wish cover has a tiny barely visible endentation in his collar just below his chin (see photo). DEATH WISH (dvd): In this explosive story of revenge and urban violence, Charles Bronson plays Paul Kersey, a bleeding-heart liberal who has a change of opinion after his wife and daughter are violently attacked by a gang of thugs in their apartment. His daughter is sexually assaulted and his wife is murdered. Bronson then turns vigilante as he stalks the mean streets of New York on the prowl for muggers, hoodlums, and the like. Herbie Hancock does the music soundtrack. DEATH WISH 2: You will remember that the original opened with home invaders killing Bronson's wife and raping his daughter. After Bronson used himself as bait to trap and kill nine New York City muggers, he became a folk hero. Vincent Gardenia, the cop, found out who he was, and decided not to arrest him if he gets out of town. Bronson has left, and in this film, he's now in Los Angeles. The film opens with his daughter being killed, and then Bronson hits the streets again. His real-life wife Jill Ireland plays the woman he loves, and who suspects his guilty secret. Music by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin fame! DEATH WISH 3: Bronson is back in New York at the begining of this film, just in time to find an old friend dying after a vicious beating. He is arrested for the crime, but allowed back on the streets by the police captain (Ed Lauter), who offers a deal: he can murder all the creeps he wants, if he keeps the cops informed. Kersey (Bronson) does not agree to this deal, but Lauter doesn't seem to notice. Indeed, by the end of the film, the two of them are stalking the streets side-by-side, like killers in the old West. Jimmy Page returns to do the music soundtrack again which was issued as an album. DEATH WISH 4 the Crackdown: Bronson is the architect crusader once again. He pits rival crack-dealing LA gangs against each other. With Kay Lenz, John P. Ryan as the millionaire who backs him and turns out to be the drug kingpin, Perry Lopez, and Soon-Tek Oh. It features a roller-rink gun battle and lots of drugs.
